HYGIENE AND SAFETY

Alpamare Saïdia is the first water park in Africa to be fully certified by TÜV Süd, the European standard for water park standards (EN 15288, EN 1069, EN 13451).

General Information

Safety

Please read all safety information and signage, and follow the instructions of the lifeguards. Thank you.

Jewelry

For safety reasons, jewelry should not be worn in the pools, on the slides, and attractions.

Cleanliness

To keep the pool water clean, please take a shower before entering.

Your stay at Alpamare Saïdia will involve water, in all areas, including the changing rooms: please use the available ramps and do not run!

Children

Always supervise your children: they are under your responsibility. Lifeguards cannot monitor everyone at the same time, and some areas, like playgrounds, may be unsupervised.

Children who cannot swim must wear armbands. Children aged 12 and over who can swim may access attractions unaccompanied.

All children under 8 years old, regardless of their swimming ability, must be supervised at all times by an adult.

Children can be supervised as follows:

  • 1 adult can supervise 1 child aged 3 and under.
  • 1 adult can supervise 2 children aged 4 to 7.
  • 1 adult can supervise 2 children aged 8 and over, who cannot swim.
  • Children aged 12 and over, who are competent swimmers, may enter unaccompanied.

Babies should only be put in the water for short periods (5 to 10 minutes), due to the loss of body heat. Very young babies should not be put in the water.

Please ensure that babies and young children who are not yet toilet trained wear diapers. Anyone suffering from diarrhea should be kept out of the water.

Slides

These are thrilling attractions powered by gravity and water. Visitors with certain disabilities, impairments, or pregnant women should not ride the slides.

Please read the safety signage at the base of the slides. All users of our slides, especially young ones, must be able to hold onto their float or mat.

To avoid injury, those using our slides must all be free to move during descents and be aware and accept the risks associated with sliding. Be very careful not to slip when entering and exiting the slides!
